This classic timepiece, elegant and sober at first sight – reveals its owner’s wrist a piquant secret: an erotic scene concealed underneath the dial. The rotating dial and the case side of the Caligula timepiece are adorned with guilloché, a subtle allusion to fishnet stockings while the erotic scene was hand painted by the miniaturist artist Andre Martinez – a true demonstration of craftsmanship that requires 15 hours of labor.
